Swaybars for an AWD? General suspension upgrades?

Anyone know whats available for these cars? I plan on spending alot of time running over cones and was wondering what my options are.

I know there are a few company's that make strut kits for this platform so thats not really an issue. What I am concerned about is a decent sized rear sway bar. Do the AWD cars use the same rear bar setup as the fwd cars? If not, does anyone know what my options are?

Any help on setting up one of these cars would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

as far as I know...AFAIK, haha...anyways, they use the same bar and strut setup. I know they're just larger from the added weight. there's a sticky around here that has links to some pdfs with part numbers for 2wd and 4wd...can't remember which subforum its in though.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

I'll try and dig through my paperwork and find a part # for the Whiteline bars on my street car. My shocks and uprights came from some outfit in Australia and they don't have any more, dammit.

replace teh stock sway bar (w/ a beefier one) instead of adding an additional sway bar like quickor. I believe that is what they mean.

Yeah that's what they mean. I found the invoice for the rear bar, bought from Mofugas.com part # BFR43Z. Couldn't find an invoice for the front bar. All I know is the car corners flatter than my wallet.
Found this info elsewhere though and it is interesting. Almost everything you can bolt to a GTR, you can bolt to a BG Protege, prolly every single GTR bit bolts to a 4wd BG Protege.. Makes sourcing go-fast stuff a little easier, yes?

"BFR43Z, adjustable rear sway bar to suit Mazda 323 BG GTR turbo AWD 91-93, is supplied with new sway bar end links that connect to the new vertical "blade". All necesary nuts and bolts are included in the kit.
KCA324X, caster and anti-lift kit, is contains new bushing with off-set hole. To increase caster, fit this bush so that the hole is closer to the outside of the car. The kit also contains extra spacer plates with bolts. This is used to space the bush bracket down to change the anti-lift characteristics."

I don't think I have that item. Didn't see a invoice for it but I'll look under the car tomorrow. May have to make a phonecall and git me some of that.

I found this old thread looking up that part number from whiteline bfr43z and it list as a 27mm some places

and a 22m mm others. I onder if it fits gtx? I think so becuase Wayne Bolton of white line sent me a email about.

What is the protoge cross fitment and where are the anti lift kit pictures?

Derek @ Corksport told me they can get JDM rear bars for like $150 IIRC, he said they're an upgrade over stock. I want to find something stiffer for my BF GTX.

That's why I bought one, it seems stiffer I could take some pics of the two for comparison. Iv been told the GTR bar was better than the gtx sway just haven't gotten to drive on it yet.

The GT-R rear bar is a little bit smaller. 19.1 mm vs. 20 mm for the GT-X. Whiteline has a 22 mm adjustable rear bar, and they used to have a 22 mm non-adjustable rear bar that was cheaper. That one seems to have disappeared though.

Any links to the whiteline bar? I may go with that over the jdm GTX bar.
