    Project Officially Started 12/30/07; Here we go again!!!)

    Introduction:
    Second Time Around w/ a B13+Turbo Combo 

    Well, with the sad demise of the “Grey Goose” - I bring you the Blue Devil aka “Le Diable Bleu”. This year were starting another journey with a fresh high exhaulted NX chassis. I’m very happy to join the NX2k Community and I hope I can express my style successfully. I really like it because it’s different! Here we go again! I hope the journey is as much fun as I had with my turbo Sentra… which is now with a great owner!!!

          Hehe... Yeah, The car is like frankenstein now... I have to go pick it up... all its parts on that list are scattered around my garage like lego pieces It will be a fun winter... I'll post pics up when I get a chance.

          Starting from scratch is sweet, but it will be good.

          Yeah Chris, come through mang... not much to see yet, but it will be here Next Friday.

          Is there any way I can continually edit this thread? I love the test forum here...

                              Yay... work officially starts! New Year, New Garage, New Car...

                              1. First thing to do was to fix an oil pan on the current motor... Brent had said for some reason it was leaking... I think the pan was just real old and had a little surface rust, and a pinhole leak at the bottom. I had an extra one downstairs so it worked out


                              2. Ahhh fresh pan... from my long lost original 98 motor


                              3. I wanted to get it running with this motor before it was time to rip it out. Compression in Cyl 3 was a little low, so now I have a free excuse to learn and rebuild it!. After a few calls to Brent, and switching over a few things, like the wires, fuel filter, coil, ignitor, wires, spark plugs, relays, puttin in some fresh gas and sta-bil.... finally changed the distributor and it kicked... of all things hehe.


                              4. I limped it to the gas station a block away to pump a little more fresh gas in it.


                              5. Last night after I hung out with the girl, I went into the shrine and got a little bit of work done. I installed my old stereo, and put in new speakers all around...


                              6. Yes, I hate pioneer speakers too, but hey they were cheap!


                              7. I then test fitted my intake piping and catch can with the sweet piping that brent gave me... I won't be able to use my old hot-cold setup. It's tight, but I think these will work fine together.


                              8. Ahhhh... good old bluebird. Before I put the sentra down, I went back to the stock top mount setup.


                              9. Virgin t25 man... time to take it off.

                              11. After taking off the turbo, I came to find out that 2 of the 02 housing bolts were gone!!!!! There were only 3 holding the bad boy on. Interesting... will need to use some locking nuts after the upgrade.


                              12. Everything looked clean, no bad signs of wear... no real shaft play


                              13. I'll be sending the t25 02 housing out to get ported for use on the t25... not sure who will be doing it, but I need it to keep my t25 downpipe. I want it to be smooth like baby skin... its restrictive as hell.


                              14. Laid out the tools of rice boi destruction... I'm ready to roll! I will be sending my gtir manifold out to get port matched and smoothed inside as well. The exhaust honing sounded good... but too expensive for what my goals are budget wise.


                              15. Here is where I left at 2am just bull ****tin. It was nice to turn a wrench again... I really missed it. Little bit of work ahead, swapping over stuff, and freshening the car up inside and out. I can't wait to get started on the engine bay... Brennan! where you at! I wanna run an idea by you...

                              Goals for this week, are to... pay brent the rest of the money for the extra parts he gave me lol, and give him back some n/a parts. Get the title transferred, get the car in the air, and start getting ready for engine pulling. Maybe take all the interior out - buy an angle grinder and start grinding and start looking into insulation, maybe clean up the exhaust. but there is no rush.
