If you want a set made for any headlight that is not listed on his website, it will be $100 for the mold, and $20 to be shipped back to you. He will also need the pair of headlights shipped to him that you want the clear lenses to be made for. They will be shipped at your expense. He should ship those back to you once he has completed your order.

I am in not way affiliated with this company, or the owner, nor am I making any money, a profit, or receiving free merchandise from him, or his company. I am just sharing something that may be helpful to the Club Protege Community. For those who are interested in having optimum lighting at night, and plan on doing a HID retrofit, this is the last piece to your puzzle for creating the the ultimate lighting setup.

    Welcome to the light.

This is one of those things that depend on price. I'd be interested if they can do Escort headlamps, the stock ones are terrible.

            Like mine?

I always thought we should contact TYC in the UK about more of these. TYC here knows nothing about them.
And yes Escort clears would be nice but I think they should have a new look not just clear, something like projectors?
            ?

Are you talking about completely new headlights or just the lenses? Because the fluted lenses are what spread the light across the road.

The more you can find, the cheaper they would be. The first mold is the most expensive.

See the above comment. I'm doing the usdm slants, as I don't have the jdm slants.

Plastic. I'll have to see what he will charge me. He said that its too much of a hassle to become a vendor, blah blah blah. So they would have to come through me in bulk. And then I would have to ship them out to the individuals. So I won't know a price for the usdm slants until he makes them.

Its just the lenses, but he needed the whole headlight for fitment purposes.

So is he gonna fix the housing so that the beam comes through right? Also escort clears would be the biznomb. Who is the company and how much does the first mold cost? Get us details on how much vs numbers of people buying like 150 for the pair for 4 people 130 for 6 etc.

You do realize you will have nothing but a light bulb pointing forward with nothing focusing it? 93_EGT has the lens built into the silver housing of the headlight so his head lights actually work. Just having clear plastic in front of your bulb will do nothing but piss other people off and make it so you can't see the road properly.

The usdm lens is no where close to being clear. Its fluted. And yes. Its will look like the pic posted above.

I can do that once he finishes my pair.

I won't be using the oem bulb. I'm using a FX-R projector. That's why I need the clear lenses.

I have thought about this but has anyone taken the lens off a headlamp and seen the light output on a wall... I would imagine there are differences in housing design to spread the light not dependant on the fluted lens to spread the light.

Im only saying because it would suck to spend a bunch of money on these clear lenses only to find it doesnt hardly spread the beam and still blinds oncomming drivers.

Im not trying to be a downer, like i say i have considered it, and thought of it, none the less I am interested to see how these work out!

due to the post created while i was typing I see this is a great option to allow retrofitting of projectors... without them headlight options are basically a non option unless you like blinding people.

The only people who could find a use for a clear lens like this are people who are doing projector retrofits.
