Yeah I know the first thing you think is tighten it, but I've already tightened the crap out of it and I'm worried about making it too tight. The belt looks brand new, so it's not too old.....Should I just say screw it and tighten the crap out of it even more? How do I know when it's too tight and risking failure? Or is it a sign the compressor bearing is crapping out? Once the motor warms up it's fine.
And although the belt looks new, I'm thinking it's possible it could be the wrong belt. Car is a 97 Kia Sephia.
