    Rerouting the airbox

ok i know i had another post about air box mod but this is different. i'm wanting put a cone on it but i'm afraid sucking in hot engine air. well me and my buddy came up with a idea the other day. i'm thinking about taking the air box out completly and under the coolant tank they're is a about 3 inch hole which goes in front the guard around the tire and behind the bumper i'm thinking about having some pipe bent to go through the hole and stick a cone filter on there. and relocating the coolant tank to a different location. but if i do something like that i know it won't matter unless i open up the exhaust. i'm thinking about getting a small flowmaster or something welded in it place to open both end's up. has anyone done this and have pictures, and what would be a good muffler to have welded up. we got a guy around here that does nothing but muffler work and he can bend pipe to fit anything.
    thanx in advance
