For Sale: 1988 Mazda 323 GTX
Up for sale is a rare 1988 Mazda 323 GTX. Only 1200 were sold in North America and this was Mazda’s group A rally car. It has a 1.6L turbocharged 4 cylinder engine sending power to all 4 wheels. Body has a little bit of rust by the rear fenders as well as tiny spots on the front fender. The interior is in mint condition with next to new GTI seats. Previous owner noted that the car burns a little bit of oil (top up every 2000 km or so) but I have not had to top up yet. 4WD combined with brand new studded winter tires (installed January 10th, 2015) make this an unstoppable winter beast. The car does not come with a radio, but wiring harness is included for aftermarket deck. Front left axle will need to be replaced in the future as boot is ripped. Additional pictures available.
Aftermarket parts:
- Reich rom tune (Reich’s website states +30hp gain)
o Remaps fuel curve to run 16psi safely (currently at 12psi)
o Increases rev limit to 7200rpm
- Manual boost controller
- Blow off valve
- Autometer boost gauge
- Hard pipe cold air intake with cone filter
- GTI seats
Spare parts included:
- 2 spare OEM GTX wheels with tires
- Stock intake pipe, spare MAF, spare cone filter, and oem recirc valve
