Long-time-lurker says Hello!

I have been a long time lurker on this forum and it has provided me with some great information and tips.
Decided to register, mainly to get some help and advise with some due work on my car (suspension).
Wife is driving a 2000 Protege ES (BJ), 5spd. ~165k miles.
All stock.
For the suspension work,
Any pointers, offers, referrals to individuals, small shops etc. in the area (between Seattle and Bellingham) are most welcome.
All parts I want to drop in are already here (all OEM / KYB). Problem: I have little experience but am eager to learn.
