I am from new zealand and have a stock 89 gtx sedan in blue, 145kms on the clock. Must have been well cared for and will continue to be. Everything is as good as I could hope from an old gtx, engine and gearbox and overall car wise. The only issue is fuel economy.
I haven't done much besides check the air filter (bright white still) and blow it out with the compressor, change the plugs, oil and filter, fuel filter, the one wheel bearing which was dying. My fuel economy is like a bridgeport 13b ! Smells like its a little rich.
What would be your order of attack for a situation like this? My economy is about 7km/l which is about 16.5mpg
