    F series trans question.

    Hello everyone. New member here, I joined purely to ask this question. Working on a BF sohc 323. The external bolt that holds the reverse idle shaft and gear was removed and the shaft fell into the case. Trans has been pulled and sperated, no internal damage. Reverse shaft and gear have been reinstalled and case has been been put back together. Shifts from gear to gear very smoothly but if I turn the input shaft, it either feels locked, spins freely or spins but I can hear the reverse gear clicking because it touches the main shaft. Does this stop when the trans is laying flat and full of oil or is something screwed up inside? Ive watched a YouTube video of a G series assembly (he doesnt talk during the whole video) and when fully assembled his does the exact thing mine does. Safe to reinstall or no? Any help is greatly appreciated.
