I am picking up a 2014 manual 6 so Mazda 6 Touring this weekend, aka Maxine 2.0.

So Maxine will either be sold, or parted out. Sad to see her go, but I could have paid down $3-4k since I have invested that in this car in the last 6 months. So I am going to tidy her up for her new owner, whether it be a person, or a junk yard.

Tired of working on her, to be honest. She suppose to be my daily and I've spent more time working on her, than driving her this year. I drive 65 miles hughway to work so I need something reliable. I also have a soon to be 3 yr old and planning on having another so "me time" is about to be real slim.

Sent off the mfactory shock to be rebuilt under warranty. I made up my mind tidy while cutting grass to remove all items of worth from the car and put them up for sale. Then try to sell the car for 1500. If I can't sell the car, I'll try to sale the motor/trans / wheels and scrap the car.

Let's see which path it takes.

I'll hopefully be the new owner of a 2014 Mazda 6i Grand Touring with 50k miles Saturday

Imma stay around here. I will put my M6iGT, aka Maxine 2.0 thread here in the other cars section. I'll be doing light mods, ie, tint, replace radio with pioneer avh2330NEX, prob put my kicker 10 in, undecided on anotjer amp, or just run the sub channel on the 5 channel kicker amp, debadge and evil M rear badge, color match front badge and that will prob be it for a while.

I'll tell the new owner this is here if they so happen to want to take it over.

2 pair of brand new lens are done, so the entire retrofit I'll be up for sale. Harness, ballast, headlights, new lens, etc. Everything to drop in.

Made a little progress in getting her sale ready. I should have done this long ago. Took about 40 mins from.door panels off to dyed.

I need to put the stock brake lines back on, bleed,remove MFactory coilovers, install old gr2 struts, remove the front strut bar, remove the radio, amp, subwoofer and buy a new $70 pioneer BT radio and run new wires.

I also may remove the mk3 front lip, egt side skirts and accord rear lip. I may leave them since it makes the car look lower.

I also need some OEM slant headlights so I can remove the retrofit and harness.

All of these things will be for sale.

I thinks that's it. After that, I'll slap 2 for sale signs and drive her occasionally and hope someone bites, lol.

Everyone, meet Maxie G! Top of the line. Every option available, 2014 Mazda 6 Grand Touring. 53k, got her for $13.9k, which was the pricing for the 14' Tourings in my area. I domt think they realized what they had, or they got her for cheap at the auction.

New radio came so I can take the Kenwood flip up, kicker amp and L710 out and sell on Ebay.

The Pioneer MVH-S300BT looks like a nice unit! Had great reviews and was decently priced! I will try to get the interior back together this week.

Removed the MFactory coilovers and SS brake lines and returned the old gr2's and rubber brake hoses to Maxine. Tomorrow hopefully I can bleed the brakes and remove the stereo and replace with the Single din pioneer.
