I just cut the existing connectors off of mine and matched the wire colors up to the JDM connectors... it was really easy...soldered and heat shrunk for max efficiency and no corrosion problems later...

The one thing though, since this car has DRL's I need to pull up on the handbrake one notch to extinguish them so the corners become visible. But that's no biggie... I may eventually modify the drl's so only the corners light, but I want to make sure I want to before playing around with them. So I'll drive it like that for now and see...so for now it's this:

H/L switch off: DRL's no corners
H/L swt first notch: DRL's and corners
H/L swt first notch with P/B up 1 notch: corners only no signal lights
H/L second notch: H/L and corners, no lit signal lights

Signal lights only come on when they need to flash.. other than that they're extinguished unlike before when they were lit at either first notch or second on the H/L swt...

I'm looking for a nice set of 16" rims black with yellow stripe...The only yellow (other than the striping) that is going on the exterior will be the GTR hood vent meshing, the pinstripe and logo on the rims, and the li'l B signature on the rear trunk lid where the Protege logo usually goes

Oh and BTW the paint looks horrible on the rest of the car... with spray over and stuff, I need to do some serious rescue work on the rest of the paint job...I'll be buffing this weekend...

try to find konig daylites in black and yellow i got mine for like 300 for 4 on clearance. i actually got 5 of them and put one away incase of a random curb jumping out in front of me someday...lol... not sure what size they made these in, but i seen them around here and there on craigslist and ebay for used sets... mine are 15x7 and i forget the offset but they fit perfect and remind me of the 949 miata wheels... i just wanted a bit of color...lol...

K thx, I'll check that out...just went down the the basement garage and took these... as you can see the molding needs to be replaced...May go with black oh shiit! handles... we'll see...

What type of paint did you use on the interior pieces? The stuff I used on my mx3 console keeps flacking off of the lid.

Duplicolor brand name spray paint for vinyl ... Should be able to find it stateside...I also used another type of paint but can't remember what it was named though...I tink it was Krylon... but for sure it was a paint for plastics...

Yeah... that's the stuff... and yes the yellow was the Krylon...has a special spray head on it.... however I found the duplicolor worked pretty good, maybe better...

If you're talking about handles above the rear doors - EDM cars have soft leather handles too
They're so soft for the heads of rear passengers, lol
