turbo install pics
ok here we go saturdays progress i got the new motor and trans in with manifolds bolted up intercooler in but the vaccum line the goes from fpr to vaccum solonoid to intake mani i dont have a plug for it its this
can i use one of the ones that were for the vaccum solonoids for the bp one of these?
also the flat pipe off the bottom of the vj-20 hits the front motor mount housing so im gonna grid the housing a little then re enforce the welds
here are the rest of the pics i still have to install bp26 ecu
so my stock sensor went out for temp gauge so i took my old 1.9 one and modded it into a tee for my new auto meter gauge to work heres the pic

i should be able to start a bpt with a bp ecu right i still have not switched ecu's i did the gtx vaccum solonoid thing with the pink wire plug from the bp wire harness , i pluged in the injectors and distributor i pluged in and installed rx7 vaf tuned to a bp , do u have to mess wih the settings of the spring on the vaf bettween the bp and bpt?it still wont start not even kick at all ?

It should start without an issue on the BP ECU even if you are using BPT injectors. Now, when you did your injector harness wiring, did you leave the BP 8 pin harness in there or try and splice in the GTX with the 6 pin?
You should use the BP 8 pin to avoid wiring trouble. As a reference for the injector harness wires on the BP harness:
white/red - power
yellow - inj bank 1
yellow/black - inj bank 2
black/red - VICS
blue/white - water temp sensor to ECU
black/brown - water temp sensor to ground
green/orange - fuel pressure reg solenoid
black/orange - coolant temp signal going back to the cluster
Things to check next.
Are you getting fuel? Is the pump turning on? There is a safety cutoff in the VAF. Make sure it's plugged in.
Are you getting an RPM reading from the disty?
Are you getting spark from the coil? If you're seeing RPM on the cluster then it's likely fine. Is your cap and rotor on properly with spark plug wires on properly?
Is your engine timing correct via the timing belt?

ok i just installed bp26 ecu it was a cake walk besides runing from passenger side to driver and so on . tell me somthing ive done NO splicing of wires i was lead to belive this bp to bpt was plug and play so far thats what ive done all ive done was installed gtx injectors on bp fuel rail gtx vaccum solonoid spliced into pink wire plug from passenger side for old bp solonoid, turbo, intercooler, piping, coolant and oil lines, bpv installed and vaf installed and it still just turns over no sign of starting i guess since this motors never been ran by me before i should of ran it n/a first got it to run then slaped on the turbo and stuff is there anything else i forgot i have not put in the 4 wire tps yet ? but thats when i put in the safc . anybody help me problem solve i replace the timing belt mabye i jumped a couple of teeth ?
