ok i installed some thunderbolt high flow converter i got off ebay its a 400 cell and the exhaust is still to loud im starting to get really annoyed

i would like to drive it but its so loud i know im going to get a muffler ticket and where i live you cant plea them down to parking tickets so im going to have to get a exhaust made for it or just wait to put the turbo back on and that wont be until next summer so i am kind of stuck right now

I dont get away with it with my full D&D pipes =[ Prolly because its not a chopper/cruiser.

are you running a resonator in the exhaust? if not, that's probably why...BPs and straight through exhaust = crap sound

haha true! yea, cat converters won't do a LOT for noise, especially on a 4cyl.

Are you running a straight thru muffler? I've always ran straight thru resonators and chambered mufflers with great sound, no rasp, and decent highway noise.

yea its an apexi n1 4.5" tip

im thinking about using this muffler and resonator combo just need to get some measurements to make sure they will both fit

the muffler is still a straight through design lol, its still going to be noisey!

whats wrong with magnaflow products?

no clue i think it might be quiet compared to the one that's on the car right now i am thinking of just taking it in to get one build by a local shop and see what kind of combo they think up

don't forget when you install your turbo setup, it'll quiet down at least 10%. So not bad, I'm still not sure why you're not going with Magnaflow lol, its tried tested and true man! I've used nothing but magnaflow without issues or internal rotting.
