I remember that was the king of bgs back in the day then i saw people like mysta316 with his red car, then the corksport drag car and came here and opened my eyes to other peoples cars that are just as good or better than A. christophers. I always like it though.

well i now have flat black heat shields, lower fmic piping, fmic,radiator brackets,tb linkage holder, fuse box bracket, battery hold down, cs strut tower bar brackets, turbo to filter piping, and air box shield. i think im going to do the engine lift brackets, im sure ill find more to blacken up too, i still gotta do the upper pipes, and the valve cover (not black/undecided) and some other stuff, but im getting there....lol....i dunno what kinda look im going for, but im kinda sick of the aluminum , and the other parts had signs of surface rust begining, so i blasted them clean, primed and repainted it all....

silver & black make good contrast, but you need some equal levels. make your VC more silver/shiney & the rest will fall into place.

how many degrees different is your intake temp with that box VS having it open in the well as before???

im thinking of something bright for the valve cover, its about due to be painted, i was thinking of blasting it today but its too hot...lol.... the air box so far has made the car way more conisistant, the iat only goes to about 100 in traffic even with the fans on, its down about 20 degrees. i actually just changed my coolant related fuel density back to what i used in the first place before the heat soak issue, might be a tad faster with out the extra enrichment....lol.... but ya, im off to paint something , im bored.......

well i didnt end up painting **** today, i pulled off my valve cover, pressure washed it and the gasket good, and hit the tabs on the lower side of the civer with the wheel lightly to make it hold down more, im not letting myslef buy a vc gasket till my motors in, but on a side note i finished my fathers motor for his fiero today, ill add a few pics after he puts the headers on and it looks more togther. it had 5k on it i put rods and pistons in it a few yrs ago, then the car **** the bed and he drove one of his other ones and we never got back to it. but it just freshened it up, regasketed everything, heads, pan intake , i took it all down to the short block , blasted it all, and put it all back together after he painted it . probably why i been painting my ****...lol.... but anyways, hopefully im going back to my motor soon, cause his is going back in next weekend and mines next inline, ill probably drill the pan, install that and the mbsp, and put the head on, and new tensioner and idler pulleys then paint it and thats about as far as i can go till mines out, and i swap the 12lb flywheel, web cams, and mazda valve cover , gtr intake , injectors, and turbo stuff. im also goin to try one of my many spair g boxs too see if i like it any better than the one i currently run....

well sad news, im out on workers comp till who knows when, ive been out 2 weeks already, and they said im not going back till the mri and i dont have pain..... all i know its its something with a disc or the siatic(sp?) nerve. im sure as hell not parting anything, but everythings pretty much on hold for a bit till i figure out when im being paid next. so spair parts may be up for grabs, watch the classifieds..... the only thing i may be doing is starting on the bodywork, if i find it not to hurt too much, but my buddy is ready to paint when i got money, and have it ready to shoot..... im going to see what i can do with my stock grille this week, see what it feels like to work, im sooooo damn bored, im starting to go nuts here. and it hurts too much to sit at the computer for hours on end anymore, so im kinda finding new things to do. its different, but it may be for the better... hopefully i can give some sort of update on this soon, but till then all i care about is finally getting in for the mri, which im already guessing ill need to get a few shards of metal removed first to get it done , so this is already gonna be a pain in the ass...lol... wish me luck, im not going anywhere, but i may have more things posted in the classifeds the longer im outta work. i have a few checks i didnt cash yet, but im not gonna kill myself trying to survive.... never thaught id say it but finally im coming before my car....lol... for once...lol....

ya fun ****, dont hurt your self at work, your still young...lol... i was doing brakes on the back of an audi, couldnt get a ratchet or gun in and was using 2 wrenchs hooked together to loosen it, the one cracked free and kinda jammed me or something. then i went to pick up the pads to put them on and that was about it..lol...wtf.... i dealt with it for a while, figured it was another normal sprain or whatever, and it didnt go away so i went in finally... got taken outta work that day, he basically says ive really descensitised myself from pain, and that it must hurt like hell now...lol.. what ever, fix me i wanna work....lol....

well still no work log updates, but i went for an MRI on weds, and i have a severly herniated disc between L4 and L5. im told im indeffinatly outta work till atleast jan too, this is gonna suck, im soo bored...lol.... who knows maybe ill get lucky and make it past winter without having to go back to work... screw this cold crap..... were hitting 40s already at night up here.....

ya i gotta do 30 spinal decompression treatments and see what that does, im not trying to get surgery of any sorts tho... hopefully i can even get back to work soon, eventually.... hell id be happy with a damn paycheck of any sorts right now.... what ever tho i guess, theyre just saving it up for one big check....lol.....

well had to wait a long time for the work info to come in, moved back into my parents place. so i'm going monday to the office finally, so i'll let you know once i know haha. not too long usually tho, i heard within a week. how about you there?
