the color i decide to go with its mazda true red. same color as the mazdaspeed3

here the engine bay painted. its was a long night and i was tired at work today but its worth it.the camera change the color dont know why.

small update. got the car back on 4wheel, put back the fender and hood. removed handle, key lock, molding, rear wiper. i talked with the guy and he will take the car next weekend to do the body work and paint it.

little update today, talked with the body man and he will do piece by piece and when everything its ready he will paint the car. so i had to remove all the removable piece on it.



time to work inside and on the rear now...
removed the tar inside so i can sandblast and seal better the joint. dry ice worked real good.







i know there was rust on the back but not that bad
i will have to call the scrap yard to find another top piece. the other side look a lot better.

little update, got the EGT in the garage to start to strip it. got the engine out yesterday. tomorrow its suspension





that turbo its so small!!! i need to find a t3/t4!!

today i got the exhaust, shifter, front and rear suspension out of the escort. got new bushing too.

This is going to sound stupid but whats with the rice under the carpet where the seats were?, i ask because i had the same stuff behind my dash cluster in Australia and under the carpet in my ford laser.

lol its not rice, its dry ice. used it to remove the tar
