no, it had my ****ty steelies on it.I could care less about the rims, as long as the car is still straight. It seems to track down the road straight, but im guessing i bent a control arm or just tweaked the suspension a little.I have no plans to get rid of this car, so itll get fixed no matter what it is.

did you pick up that egt? Ive been thinking about swapping a bp in the car for winter, then swapping the v6 in in spring.I was hoping we could snag up that car, and work out some sort of deal on the parts.

"I wrenched on the car a little bit, accomplished the rear disk conversion.I used a full mx3 sub frame, but didn't swap proportioning valves. The car stops pretty damn decent, the calipers will be replaced with egt pieces at the end of the month".

Nube question: Escort GT calipers? why? (I am putting an MX-3 complete rear sub frame in my car also). Not why that's stupid, why are they better-er then MX-3 calipers???

mx-3 calipers freeze up.IIRC, the pistons dont rectract into the calipers. It happened on my donor car before i pulled it apart, caused the rotors to grind away pretty quickly and the car dragged along.I ended up using the subframe from a buddies mx-3.

So are egt cailpers less prone to freeze up then? Or do you just have some kickin' around and they fit

So i checked the car over and nothing looked bent.I decided to just swap over my mx3 flowers and put my coilovers in the front to match the back. Now the car drives straight as an arrow again.Ive never seen a rim so bent that it would pull the car to either direction.I also started working on the body work in the back, got the filler panel pretty straight, just need to fiberglass over the small creases.Ill be on the lookout for a round style center garnish soon, then the back end should be good again.

I gave the car a wash to keep the salt to a minimum, and decided to take some pics of how the car looks. Its now sitting on ebay coilovers on stock struts until i replace the struts. The mx3 flowers are wrapped in 205s and work pretty good in the white stuff.Im getting the itch to swap this car in the next few weeks, Ill have to see how the weather cooperates

The pics are anything but sufficient, im going to start shopping around to replace my 4 yr old digital camera.
