you might wanna get a string or something tied around the trans thru the axle holes or your gonna be REALLY pissed if someone hits your tranny with something and the gears FALL IN the case, just when you think naw that will NEVER happen to me guess what IT WILL!!!! but looks great so far good luck on the build

take a piece of heavy string or something that you can TIE in a knot and go THRU BOTH THE holes for the axles and tie it tight!!!! if someone bumps that trans the wrong way the carrier bearings WILL fall into the case and really make your day a crappy one

or cram a axle in it so the gears cant fall, if you look @ my build pics youll notice a axle NEVER left the trans if i could help it http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/atta...1&d=1239663281 trust me if they fal and you dont notice it you will be replacing the trans the first time you start it it will **** the trans

no problem i thought ahhhhhhhhh it could NEVER happen to me and well IT DID and cost me 350 bucks for a trans for my pro about a year ago. just wanna save someone else the BAD LEARNING experience i had and MANY of our members here have probably had happen to them also

what are you gonna do with the BP from the escort?

hey dont forget to take the shift linkage. the G and F are different ... if you lay them side by side you will see the difference

yeah im definitely taking the shift linkage the bushings are better on the escorts. i think im going to keep the bp from the escort as a spare/ rebuilder but im not too sure yet lol i know your out on the hunt for one so if i sell it ill let you know

taking this things clutch flywheel pressure plate for now and ill upgrade when i go turbo

here she is mounted the paint got dirty but it can be cleaned up

look i got the string attached through the axle holes now

since im crazy and i want the engine bay to look clean i decided that the radiator fluid reservoir sticks out too much so i decided to cut it and epoxy it somewhere down the neck a little so it hides it, i think it looks pretty decent so far.

lol bps are easy to find! car-part i find a gooood amount around here lol. i think im keeping the one from the donor egt as a spare lol but ill see if i come across something
