Nice score on the Gt, it's not as bad as one of my gt's lol. I have the same interior combo in my DD it's nice but it's starting to rip on the driver bolster like they all do.

well today got up and went straight to work on doing the swapping of stuff off the gt on to the Lx, the list Items all swapped today
cleaned rims up a lil, and put em on, damn they look good!!!! still some work to be done to clean up the clear coat thats pealing on the lip.
        seats front and rear
dash with column, really didn't look good with the Mx3 black pieces in it so i just swapped the WHOLE dash assembly.
then looking @ the side plastics i HAD swapped in before they didnt match the grey door cards so i swapped all the rear plastics AGAIN while i had all of them removed i changed out the headliner with the Gt one cause it was clean compared to my nasty one that was in there. interior is done now no more crap to deal with inside the car.

        And heres the pics

well today got a bunch of clean up,sanding and then painting done on the trans and the manifold. and yes i plan on removing the end cover and sanding it clean of the specs of rust and painting it black was no point masking it off when it jut has to come off for a clean up anyways. not sure about this high temp exhaust paint supposed to be good up to 2000 degrees so we will see how it lasts on the exhaust. still kicking around on what manifold to use i have a second gen manifold that would look good but i dont know what way im gonna go yet is there ANY added benefits of the second gen intake manifold over the stock gt manifold ?????

and i know yesterday i said i was done with the interior crap but i forgot my gauge cluster so had to get that all installed and working. now the interior other than my deck install is done.

yea they are the covers, and you only have to remove the tach needle (least thats all i had to take apart) and i perm glued mine to my cluster (i have a glue with a accelerator you spray on and in about 2 seconds its perm attached)

Added a pic to show the on position

Well Today Was A Good Day!!!

Engine is in the trans upper mount gave me a lil issue going in but worked thru it and got it done.

                      still have to do.
Lower trans brace, find the Vc bolt that disappeared sometime today!! exhaust (still have to go pick up the manifold gasket), axles and seals, shift linkage, power steering belt, have to fix the socket for the fan sender, cooling system with all new hoses including heater, fill with fluids, and then should be able to flip the key!!!
then when the Vc gets out of the powder coating shop get that installed on and it should be DONE!!!! till the next step of the project

Car looks alot better now that the front has weight in the front
