I worked on Her alittle today .. ran some wires to finish off the clutch safety switch ..
Did some testing to see why my charge light stays on when I run her . Well looks like the Alternator I bought off a Fellow CP member awhile back is a DUD !!!
When running at idle its pushing out 15.17 volts to the battery and amp readind is close to 50amps .
Then when I put a load to it @ idle ( Defroster, High beams etc ) The amp meter reads over 75 amps ... And the alternator is a stock 65 amp unit .
So I still have my original one , but it looks like ASS.. will need to clean it up .
Then I worked on getting the new bumper fitted correctly .. looks good I will post a Pic later when its out in the sun tomorrow.
Last thing I did was finish the wheels ... center caps on .. and did a Red pin stripe on the bead of the rim to finish her off..
My favourite clear corners! Cool!
I can't replace headlight to these, because my hood is straight...
What about their lighting ability? I'm using DEPO, but these are TYC, yes?
