The points have been calculated from last weekends autocross event... Robert has moved up into 3rd place in the novice championship.. 1st/2nd place both have 4 events under their belts, where as Robert only has 3... If we took the 1st place guy and dropped his lowest score, Robert and him are separated by less then ONE point!!! Lets all cheer Robert on as we head on into the last 2 events of the season.. This is going to be an extremely good battle... Next event is Sept 29th... The final event is Oct 14th...

Thanks to everyone for the Congrates !!

I wish I had not missed the first event of the season as it might have given me those few points to pull off the top spot.

Either way it was a fun and learning year. Still figuring out the car and its driving ablility ( more so my ability )

I went to the VCMC clubs awards banquet and got some swag for my 3 place finish , abunch of Motul product
and a free tire mount and balnace from one of the season sponsors.

So not a bad way to end the season :0)

Now I have most of my winter weekends to get moving on the GTR engine swap ... in between working on my nephews new ride .

Oh I forgot about the set of wheels I picked up . I figured these would work well as my set of wheels for Auto -X and road course track time . They are an older set of American Race wheels . 15 x 7. fairly light , solid one piece wheel . Not sure what I will do with them yet when it comes to finishing " painting " . I played around with some red pin strip tape to see what they would look like black and a touch of red . I will have to mount them on the car to see what it will look like .... Not sure yet .
