So I havent had much to update on through the summer .. just been driving her and Auto-Xin breaking in the motor, tranny and suspension.
But I am not to happy with the suspension setup. Its actually ok for the most part , but I want more suspension travel and adjustment.
In saying that I have been talking with Eric at K-Sport and Jim at Pierce Motorsports.
We have dialed in what I wanted ... I will be taking delivery of The K-Sport GT Pro Damper coil overs , with their Advanced pillow ball Camber/Caster plates.
Basically its their off the shelf GTX BG 4x4 Kontrol Pro model , but in a GT Pro version.
I did some research and it looks like the Advanced pillow ball mount they make for the 1999-2003 Protege will work in our BG's.
So I will have both caster and camber adjustment !!!
Plus I am Getting Jim to send me up a set of the tubular rear control arms :0) .
Everything should will be here by Xmas ... and I will be installing eveything over the winter ... many pictures to follow.
suspension is getting yet another serious overhaul lol, glad to see you're finding what you're looking for though! awesome news about those camber/caster plates too
Didn't want to wait and see what I could during tax time eh rob?? At least this way I can check out your set up and tweek it if I need to for my self...
