Some more wide angle shots for yee guys

Did the final installation of the AFCO radiator today, it's now secure on rubber pads and I have some nice rubber washers on it at the top between the rad. bracket and the upper rad. support.

Not much else done, I did track down a stock mx6 airbox and charcoal canister, but I still need the OEM throttle body elbow. By sheer dumb luck the airbox fits perfectly in its OEM spot without interfering with the oil filter and oil pressure sending unit....I thought I was screwed when I first looked at it with the airbox in my hand.

Tomorrow I hope to close up the front apron area with some sheetmetal - i had to cut those areas open to allow the big fat tires to fully turn lock-to-lock without hitting anything even when fully lowered. It was a PITA at the time, but it's paying dividends now. If I get that done, I'll put the flares on and I might have my first look at the full beast (on the outside at least).

In the engine bay I still have to do some wiring gymnastics since the fuse box is now on the right side. I was going to leave the battery in front for now, but it makes me do too much wire tracing and re-routing (starter, alternator, etc). So I'll just put the battery in the trunk from the get-go.

That's pretty much the same path I took to mounting the flares.
I had seen that thread through my searching as well and figured that is probably what you were doing. Thanks for the tips.

So you're not even putting a heater core in the car at all?

The wide angle lens hurts my brain.

And you should really paint the metal parts of the starter motor and solenoid...I'm just sayin'.

Starter is also on the "I'll deal with it later" list.

The heater core is in the car, I only looped the line at the thermostat housing so coolant won't be dripping out for days while I'm under the car.

Today I made some brackets, closed up the aprons at the wheelwells where I had cut to make room for the tires, got the starter cleaned up, bolted up clutch slave cylinder.

Since I don't want to drill holes in my newly cleaned up engine bay, I'm making brackets for various things for now, until I wire tuck it. I want it running and running well before I start cutting wires.

A bracket I made for the charcoal canister, diagnostic box and a ground cluster:

Left rear flare on (still need to fasten one bolt, I'll have to use a nutsert there as I have no access to the back of it):

                          Random shizz:
