Today I put on a hood strut - it's already pretty strong so I may forgo the second one, although I will wait until it's colder to fully decide (105*F today). I made a mess of the upper mounting point so I'll redo that later on when it's cooler outside.

I think the struts were off a Probe hatch, but I can't remember for sure.

    Bonus sex shot:

It's really sweet to have an almost vertical hood (here's where the shaved hinges pays off) and not dick with a hood prop or look for a stick like i have been.

I weighed the car today, it came in at 2380 lb with a tank of gas. That includes the full interior, spare tire, jack, etc. Looks like it gained about 130 lb with the KL swap. The old 1.6 had an iron block and the atx attached to it wasn't light.

In a word... yes. he describes the adapter being made to fit where the original AC bracket was.

Really amazing work, makes me want to completely re-do my 323 haha.

Would you mind sharing the measurements on your fenderl arches/flares and or where you got them? I don't have access to my car right now and would like to make sure I get ones that fit.
