    From a Mazda or Toyota pickup, I can't remember exactly. The case has to be slightly shaved to accommodate it.

    The next engine will also be a ZE, with a straight neck manifold most likely so I can put the Mazda strut tower bar back on.

            Well, the Rolex 24hr race is done now, time to get back to the grind.

            Oil pump changed, oil pan re-sealed, cam change in progress.

            Still have to change the knock sensor (this engine used a 1-wire knock sensor with a different plug), drill & tap the coolant neck for the water temp gauge, reinstall the timing package, and manifolds.

                      Well, the 323 is done, at last.

                      She drives great, good power, a little too much torque steer, but happy overall.

                      The engine got:
                      *new Mazda OEM oil pump
                      *oil pan re-sealed
                      *knock sensor changed to the 2-wire one
                      *ProSport water temp and oil press. sensors installed
                      *KLZE cams
                      *new cam seals
                      *new valve cover gaskets/grommets
                      *clutchmasters clutch with MX3 flywheel
                      *new transaxle output shaft seals
                      *new IM gaskets
                      *Royal Purple 10w30 with Mobil1 filter
                      *power steering delete kit (as seen here)
                      *and some other things I forget.

                      I'd write more, but it's time for an extended pleasure drive....I'll see y'all later!

                        hopefully you remembered to put some gas in it haha glad she's "all done" or whatever that means, a BG is never "all done" in my mind haha

                          The millenia KL knock sensor will work with a usdm harness.. The missing wire is wrapped around the main wire inside the outside rubber coating of the wire. Its bare metal strands twisted around the main wire. Its wired but can be made to work with the oem plug.

                            Set timing today.

                            Getting used to the muffler also (still working on those videos, i promise). It's not my fault the BBC has decided to show 70 hours straight of Top Gear.
