    YOu probably need some type of bracing holding the turbo in one place. Or take it apart and have a sleeve put on it after its welded. And weld it to the sleeve.

      that sucks man

      definitely looks like it needed some bracing though, it doesn't look to be that thick of material...then add a turbo, an exhaust system, and lots of heat...yep hell even look at the bp26 manifold, that sucker is SOLID lol, and i'm still going to support the turbo.

        Well i talked 2 a guy 2day and mayb gettin a log style mani made for a t25. hopefully ill be keepin everythin.

          sucks to hear about your car sounds like your running into my luck....I have the engine outa of mine to lazy to put the other one in lol.......I'd def go with a diffrent manifold or brace that one....and get a lsd might help save the trans for awhile

            Deff dnt have money for an lsd. but im gonna get a kia trans and brand new axles. and hopefully my clutch isnt screwed so i can reuse it. lol

              +1 even a slight bit of wheel hop would be enough to allow the turbo jerk around and with the manifold being hot it's going to stress it beyond what it was designed to hold without any bracing. A couple hundred dollars is no reason to ditch your project when its something that's pretty minor. Unless the car burns to the ground or falls apart in two, get under it and fix that ****!! I know you're tight on money right now and this really sucks to of happened to your daily driver, but this is something you should expect to happen if you're going to thrash on it. If you get a honda I'm going to come kick your ass...

                yeah I don't have the money either but i'm gonna at least try a phantom grip lot of people will diss them but i drove the zx2 for almost 2yrs showing it no mercy on n20 with a phantom grip and had no trouble at all....plus I got a spare trans

                  well got a kia trans from the JY, and got 2 new axles and put everything back 2gether and shes been drivin fine so far. and also got the turbo mani welded up till i see about gettin this other one i want. hope the trans holds up. lol

                      Glad to hear you got he goin again it should be fine long a your not spinning the wheels everywhere you go and craming it in gear....i've been through 3 escorts and about 6 or 7 g series..I also killed a g series in my friends zx2 for him lol so just be easy like bomd said

                        yea im taking it easy for now. im not doin any dead stop pulls for a while. but the trans feels alot better than the old one. and shifts alot easier too. i just hope my turbo mani holds up for a while.


                        Also found me a egt shell with perfect body and everything, just hope the guy doesnt want a fortune for it. lol it has dark blue paint and is sittin on blocks. hope i can get it. lol
