the powdercoating gun came with some hi-temp tape, I'll give it a try tomorrow. the most intricate part to mask will be the Ford logo, I think.

and yeah, that's chrome powdercoat- according to the company, it's the closest thing to chrome plating you can get with powdercoat.

Idk if we have anything that wide, usually the narrow stuff works fine for what we do. I'll check though. To cover bigger areas I've used aluminum foil secured with tape on the edges.

I'd love to see a sample of that chrome chrome finish. Is the powder any more than normal colors? Who manufactures it? If I gave you one of our sample swatches from work (little rectangle of aluminum) could you coat it for me the next time you use it?

I think I paid like $18 for a pound of it, it's a little more expensive than the regular colors. I don't think that'd be a problem- we've got a bunch more stuff to powdercoat.
