ok so i got some more sand blasting done and i power washed the engine bay out, im waiting on some gaskets and the powdercoater to arrive to i can finish up the engine and mounts. also i removed all the ac and power steering lines and all emissions crap to make room for the egt emissions crap and windshield washer bottle. i will try to remember to take some pics tonight and post them

it is definitely the slowest car I have ever owned, and the gas mileage wasn't great either.

powdercoater is here, along with a -4an/10x1.5 fitting for the oil feed, dropping those off with a hacked up EGT harness and one of Jon Rood's passenger motor mounts... going to order gaskets today, I think- sort of comes down to how much tie rods for the Miata cost.

also, picking up a Tial 38mm EWG and Innovate LC1 tomorrow, and I'll grab some more EGT parts on Friday.

on that car, I notice the cat is very close to the manifold, is there a second one after the flange thats visible? and does it have another flange in like 2 feet?

That's the only cat, it's right off the manifold. I think after that flange it's basically one piece, I don't remember for sure.

if there is another flange then thats like a bolt in test pipe..

Got the Tial and LC1 tonight, the Tial is missing a fitting and bolt, so I'll have to order that stuff later. I wonder if the vanity tag "MNYPIT" is already taken...

oh btw, I think I've figured out how to mount the gauges, I forgot how thin the DB gauge is for the LC1.
