You only want to run 10-15psi on a built engine? wtf? lol, 25psi or bust.

For the wastegate, if you want 10psi to be the lowest boost setting...get a spring around that rate...10-12psi and you'll be fine.

If you can get garrett stuff cheap, why not start off with a garrett? lol

I would like to keep my tranny in one piece. I will be happy with 260whp. I can get cheap garrett rebuild kits.

Thats the same turbo i'm runnin. I tore it apart brand new and checked all the tolerances and put garret bearings and seals in it.

But really, if your only aiming for 260whp, I would go with a smaller turbo. A to4e with a .48 turbine housing would be perfect. There is no sense in having a laggy turbo if a faster spooling one will meet your goals.

I did, and it came down to be a pain in the ass when it comes down to tune it.

But lag will give me better city gas millage! lol As long as this 60-1 can get full boost by 4500-5000 rpms I will be fine. Although the to4e would be a lot cheaper.

one thing that is being largely over looked is CFM. so 10-15 psi is alot more cfm out of the chinamachine that a vj23. no playing you down john its the other guys saying more boost.

^ What I was looking at. That's why I want to go with a Holset/60-1, tons of power @ low boost

What if you made equal length pipes that went into a collector

I meant separate pipes on the ITB's that come into a collector then to the charge piping
