update....well you all know I blew the EGT up... thought about parting it out but I ran up on 2 spare engines and an extra trans for a buck 50 so my plans are freshin up one of the new engine seals,gaskets,water pump,timing belt,bp26 cams,fidanza adjustable cam gears and all that jive and stick it back in there for round 2...at the time I do not have the money to go all crazy and buy expensive pistons and rods...I would like to but just can't afford it...also plan on color matching the engine bay while the engine is out and hoping to get at least a phantom grip for the trans...but anyway here is pic of the tear down so far

after 3 cans of brake clean some blue wolf degreaser and some high heat paint



still got to bring my snap on impact home from work and get the crank pulley off so i can clean the timing plate covers and backing plate up

Super clean build. On the one that you are building you should just source some b6t rods and be done with it.

thanks for the comments......I'll post more pics when i get the green saved to buy my water pump and a few other odds and ends and get back to the build......and bomd i would look for some b6t rods but i don't have the money to buy a water pump as of now lol

Been a while since i've updated.It runs now and is drivable just got an issue with it taking throttle till it warms up gotta work that out.I decided to paint the wheels and put on mymx3 rear tie bar











I would put these in my vb gallery but im computer retarded and it keeps tellin me the file is to big
