      Either way. your going to notice a serious step up from the T-bird. Your cold side inlet will prove the most important part.... fit a 2.5" AL intake pipe to a flange & taper that entrance more- port match the flange/pipe & enjoy.

      Yeah Im going to address that inlet step. I have a vf10 turbo sitting on the shelf as spare, the inlet taper is so smooth on it. Hopefully I can end up with something like that when Im done. Ill be redoing all the IC piping and new IC, and Ill be upgrading the inlet pipe as well. Simple rebuild on a BP block with stock pistons, B6t rods, rings, bearings. BP4W head and modified GTR IM to jive with that. Maybe some 550s..Not sure how far the 460s will take me. Itll be spring/summer I assume before ill be ripping around in it lol.

        im a firm believer that 550's are overkill unless your running E85.

              Awesome score man! What are you doing with the old tbird setup? Lol

              Also like your idea on the vj11 hotside to bump the exhaust a/r up a bit...should push the powerband so it will pull til redline and then some!

                Probably end up putting it on the EGT, among a few other odds and ends that come off the red car during the swap. Keep it around 175whp.

                Ive been looking into the what the 15R/20R housings equate to in more common A/R size, but what Ive found doesnt quite seem to be right. The housings seem smaller than these calculations Ive come across on the webz..

                "For IHI, the A/R(Pxx) is in mm2/mm. It can be converted and compared to other turbines, which are more typically in2/in. [example: Just divide it by 25.4 to get the "real" A/R, for example, if you have a p20 it's what Garrett would call a 0.78 A/R housing.]"

                  Ya I've tried to figure out the a/r on the vj20 a few times only to come up empty handed lol...I'm curious to see what you come up with for the a/r calculations though...very curious.

                    Newest addition, front and rear MX-3 seats. They look brand new. I think they match the car well in red and black. Still getting used to the height but I like!!

                            idk if they have been or not, nor does he. the interior was immaculate. I have the whole center console, wanted the dash but hes keeping it.

                              Those seats are reupholstered for sure because the mx-3 did not ever have a stock interior like that.
