Sounds like it will be fun. Are you using miata cams or are you using the stock Protege bp cams?

For now I am doing the exhintake swap - well, not swap exactly, you cut the disti gear off of an extra exhaust cam and put it on the intake side for a little more duration and tune from there. More info here:
