People who race cars of any kind think motorcycle racers are absolutely off theirs meds. But there's one group that everyone agrees is made up of the most extreme, the most daring, and absolutely craziest people in racing - rally racers."

today, i painted my hood(finally) its not perfect but better than before, the previous owner tried to repaint it himself but he messed it up bad, hopefully one day i can get it repainted....

also i primered and painted my wheels which i will be painting tomorrow, and i did the hood hinge mod that dan [sac] did, i cut half of the piece so it wouldnt hit the fenders, and now the hood goes up more for a jdm look lol...

i might have to drive my 323 during the winter, anyone know what i could do to prevent rust under the car? ive heard there is some kind of substance you put but idk what it is....

I liked the Gold wheels... but that's just me.

I would either spray on some thin weight oil under there with an old paint gun. then after winter pressure wash it off of there, or you could get a bunch of POR-15 online and paint it on down there. I've heard nothing but good things about POR-15.

About the rust under the car.
My chem professor told us that if you take a Zinc brick and bolt/solder/whatever it to the bottom of the car, it will prevent rusting. Has to do with the steel taking electrons from the zinc = preventing rust blah blah blah.
It's what they use in underground piping to keep them from rusting and also on the inside of bridges. And when the zinc is almost gone just get another brick.

I don't remember where he said to get it tho.

im curious about the engine combo as well..

what are the advantages aside from the lower compression?

what compression does it make it?

is it worth not having the oil squirters and forged crank?
