I ordered some Tial parts for the wastegate on Friday. A REAL spring and diaphram for it because the originals are cheap garbage.

Came home today and found out the bolts holding the wastegate down decided to back out just enough to allow a small amount of exhaust to bleed by frying the crap out of the steel gasket. I'm glad I didn't get on it at all today while driving Gives me a reason though to check all the hardware that was recently added to the exhaust system while I wait for another gasket and the tial internals to show up.

Just found out that I'm also missing two bolts from the downpipe flange..

I used the ones that came with the wastegate and even with a nut on the bottom with another cheapy lock washer, they backed out. I'm going to put on some heavier duty lock washers for sure... The combination of the downpipe bolts missing and the wastegate coming loose from the trip to Ace's was causing boost to build slower than it should have been.... The threading on the turbine housing go all the way through to the scroll on the ones that were missing which means the exhaust was leaking for sure, but no signs of carbon on the downpipe, just the wastegate... I'm going to toss studs on the downpipe tonight and eliminate this problem asap. I'm tempted to stud the wastegate as well... makes me wish I would have went with a v-band wastegate instead

I also don't expect the $60 ceramic coating to last long on the manifold/turbo because its discoloring which sucks.. It looks to be cracking/peeling up more beyond the wastegate tubing weld.

The downpipe wasn't missing any bolts while I was at ace's, but that doesn't mean they weren't already coming loose and leaking. The wastegate wasn't loose yet because we were inspecting it pretty closely due to the fact that the VHT paint was burning off of the dump pipe and would have noticed that right away.

Just heard back from WitchHunter Performance about my 460's, nothing major was wrong with them, passed with flying colors and are good to go now! I also have an Apexi SAFC II headed my way! Still waiting for my EWG gaskets and Tial internals to show up though
