Thanks but the MSM valve cover is way better. Shame it would require a lot of tweaking in order for it to work because the wire holes are smaller due to the COPs. Mazda wanted something like $580 for it new No thanks..
$30.72 shipped is pretty harsh for that piece and the link is dead btw. I'm pretty sure I can get the same thing locally for much cheaper. I'm not quite sure how I'm going about doing that yet. I wanted to reverse it with maybe a 45° but this would mean I'd have to find a smaller radiator since it would place the wastegate in to the radiator.. I'm not knocking the way you did it by any means, just thinking that's going to hinder some of the boost control on the 90° going vertical. Whether or not it will be worth it though is a different story. Thoughts?

Dont be stupid enough to attempt welding in stainless pipe to a cast manifold. Stainless is brittle & will not support the use as your seeking in this case without prematurely cracking- i personally don't care what anyone else be it a pro welder or not has to say. theres a damn good reason i chose the material i did
I had my manifold professionally bored with a bridgeport CNC machine it was machined farther in then needed VS how my pipe was inset into the manifold.
Try to retain as much material as possible. cast is strong until you start thining it out.
