you do have one major hurdle to get over .... the ecu and wiring are different from atx to manual trans ... you will be stuck with the atx ecu to keep the atx .. so now you have some serious thinking to do about the engine management

i think megasquirt would be the only way you can boost an automatic safely, i've never seen automatic gtx before, so finding the proper ecu would be tough.

also if you're wanting to run a 14b...why don't you just go with the factory vj-20 setup? it's meant for that engine.

yea, just look for a whole setup, will be cheaper than tryin to piece everything 2gether if u find the right person selling it. then all u would have to get is the vaf, and injectors if not included in the turbo setup u buy

I've toyed with this as well for my daily. You can wire in your own MS. If you keep boost nice and low you can get away with 360cc injectors, an SAFC and a boost retard box for management.

BTW its has been sitting for 2 yrs by now i need to get new timing set and water pump... what else??? do i need full engine gasket??

2yrs eh? hows the underbody? i'd recommend the timing belt/water pump kit, ebay is good for them, just make sure you order the proper kit. Does the car burn or leak oil? If it doesn't leak or burn, then leave it alone...otherwise, yes gasket kit for sure!

Also i'm not sure what fluid you're allowed to run with the atx, but i'd look into royal purple or redline for the fluid...auto wreckers will have a large oil cooler for your trans as well...

Take it to a coin wash and get some engine degresser. You'll find out easier that way buddy.

yeah after i get it rollable but i threw my damn crossmember it ll be dangerous to tow it :/ and i couldnt remember the condition of the brakes too
