Kinda dumped the clutch @ 3000 RPM and it just hooked and went, which was a leaning curve as it usually just sits there and spins LOL . ( I used to ride the clutch and spin like mad until it hooked then bang second).

Thanks guys! I knew there was a 13.99 in it for sure, I was surprised at the 13.7, but now I wonder if there is a 13.6 in it, as my 13.7 was not the cleanest run I ever made. From what I have seen on the net, 323's with stock straight neck KLZE's (stock cams and management) run down to a 13.7 with a 75 shot of nitrous, so that might be all there is in it. When I was stuck with 14.00 I was thinking maybe my KLZE was not so fresh, or there was something wrong with it. Now that it runs the same as everybody else's I am content. One thing I noticed was how tire size dramatically effects the E.T, makes me wonder if 195/60/14 drag radials on light 14" rims would have been the "hot" set-up?!?! Also I was thinking about running 100 octane fuel as the ecu takes all the timing out when it detects even a hint of knock. My car runs 14.6's N/A with 94, and 15.2 with 89!!! I ran back to back to back 94/89/94 and it is strange but true.

I have not weighed it yet. It is basically all there. It has light-weight front seats. It has NO: back seats, trunk plastics, spare tire, jack, rear wiper/washer, headliner carpet underlay, exhaust heat sheilds, firewall mat, all fluffy sound deadning (the sprayed on stuff is still there). I made the the rear speakers and sub box quick disconnect and I race without them. I noticed the bumpers weight a tonne. I was thinking of taking a 2" hole saw and going nuts on the fiberglass support stuctures. I drive this car every day, so I don't want to lose too much more stuff, as it is still pretty comfy and easy to live with at this point. I weight 220 which likely does not help, Jenny Craig maybe? LOL

Sounds like you'll be close to what my car weighs in at... 2100 - 2200lbs with out the driver..

If it's really that light, then honestly i'd be expecting at least a 14.0 without the nitrous. Don't know what your elevation is though.

Car looks great though! I'm glad that you're getting to have some fun with it!

I'm going to stick with my original statement, then. Can you get this thing on a dyno just for baseline pulls or something on a "3 pulls for $40" dyno day or something?

I love you like a brother, but I think you smoked your breakfast if you think that 2400LBS car with 200HP can run a 14.00 flat.

The kicker for me is that i've seen Probes and MX6s run those times with a ZE swap and not much else, and they're MUCH heavier than what you're rocking. I don't put much stock in those calculators. I ran a 2000 Celica GTS to a 14.7 quarter mile bone stock, and that's a 2700lb car/driver package with 180hp.

And there was a guy that popped in my build thread on GRM that had a stock ZE in his Tracer that was running mid/low 13s. It was gutted i believe, but that's not a huge weight difference when talking about these cars and their cheap plastic interiors.

I'd prove my theory personally, but i don't think at this point my car is going to be relevant to any of this at all.

Strap it to a dyno anyways. :D

Have you done a compression test?
