So I didn't really make it clear in the first post, but the style that I'm going for is sort of a period-look rally-cross car. I intend to use it at LRP (when I can afford it), at the dragstrip, and ideally auto-x and rally-x. When it's all done, the mod sheet should look something like this:

    Engine:
    -VJ20 @ 12 psi
-BP26 manifold modified for an external WG
    -modified CS downpipe
-2.5" exhaust (gutted cat, resonator, out the side- my old GT's exhaust)
    -BPT 330cc injectors
-Bee*R, SARD R2D2, or Sheepdog BOVs
-Audi 1.8T SMIC with a mix of custom and BPT piping
    -RX7 or hybrid VAF
    -4-wire TPS
    -F2T knock sensor
    -BP26 ECU
    -A/C and P/S delete

    Suspension:
-Pierce Motorsports 4-point front tie brace
-Roodwerks motor mount (all others filled with 3M window weld)
    -ZX2 struts, MX3 H&R springs
    -F/R strut tower braces
    -Quickor rear sway bar
    -SRD rear tie bar
-EBC Reds, Goodridge or CS lines
    -MX3 LCAs/TTLs

    Interior:
    -Bee*R rev limiter
    -SARD 60mm boost gauge
    -Tomei turbo timer
-Recaro SPG, Sparco harnesses, custom B-pillar bar (for track days)
    -MX3 seats (later style)
-Kartboy STS + shifter, MX3 shift boot

    Exterior:
    -Impreza Outback hood scoop
    -Pontiac GTP hood vents
    -RMM grille
    -Hella fog lamps
    -Hella Supertones
-some sort of period-look wheels (Equip knockoffs? OZ rally bottlecaps?)
-Escort Cosworth upper and lower spoilers

I'm sure there's other stuff I'm forgetting, but that's the basic idea.

Cool project---amazing deal for the money! Interested in seeing if the tank swap fixes the fuel issue. In the roadrace stuff we starve after we loose 8 gallons in the long sweepers at WOT---had to put a collector box in with transfer pumps and plumbing to get to the bottom and then have still had some issues.

You'd have to see it- I did a test fit last time I was working on the car and it looks pretty awesome.

I have experienced it 2 times in my 95 LX, but it was a very hard abrupt turn, and so hard my oil light flashed, and it was only when my needle was reading below E which means barely a gallon or 2 left, so I think that is a good test, no?

Oh and my tank is the 11 gallon.

Yeah, that helps- my 95 wagon didn't have an issue (hard right turn, oil light came on) but the needle was on E, not below it.

Either way, it's still better than the car dying with half a goddamn tank of fuel left.

My 92 doesn't have any problem with stalling even on hard rights with the needle on or around E. I hope I don't have problems in my 93.

Just ordered the Bee*R limiter and Tomei turbo timer, should hopefully have them next week. Going to try to get to the j/y this weekend for a K-code, PGT knock box and sensor, and 4-wire TPS...

Got a few things done today- fixed the shift lever, replaced the coolant overflow bottle, found replacements for some trim pieces, and swapped the stock seats for the MX3s out of my old GT.

Currently in the middle of replacing the rotted trailing arm- this sucks.
