well i was thinking about the 93-97 mx6/626 chassis...people who own the 89-92 chassis sometimes swap over to the 93-97 spindles...

in the front. the rears are quite different.


im loving this car. bet its a blast to drive. hows the TQ steer in that thing? its horrible in the heavier mx6/probe already.

its only bad i 1st gear, the rest i don't feel anything at all.
This is my first FWD car so i don't know what "bad" is, haha...

Im more interested in rx7's, 240's, soarers, chasers, and that kind of RWD stuff.

But i do love my Pro. i just finished washing, clay-bar, polishing, then waxing it a couple days ago...got a nasty sunburn in return. But it was worth it.

haha the pay off was worth it eh?

i'm not sure what else is done to the car, but you should look into some polyurethane bushing replacements, the pay off is worth it as well

just figured id mention.. pile of rd1 stopped by today, and we grabbed a extra set of rear spindles off a 1st gen probe/mx6 i had laying around. from holding it up to it with the protege jacked up, it def looks like it will bolt right up!

ive got two cars on AWR's already, and have done many other's including cityracers car. its nothing i havent handled before. the torch has never failed.

Ha, not to you an monoxide. To the car in general, an UNHEARD of 2.2 Turbo swap, and 5 lug. It's mind blowing.. lol

so did you have to swap the control arms as well? or is it just the wheel assemblies and slot the rear struts for plug n play?
