its on the front of the block. your crank pulley goes in front of it. theres a big hole in the middle of it for the crank snout lol. on your motor its probably completely covered in gunk. lol.

Just out of ease and money issues. Don't have money to get all the MX3 parts and pieces. Plus I'd like to see a build on it if anyone else has done it in an Escort.94 ELXGT, engine and trans located. After pickup, time to start piecing together the stuff I need.

well first youll want to power wash it to get the heavy sludge off. Make sure you cover anywhere water can get it and sit and cause damage. after that I let it dry a bit then spray a couple cans on this all over it and let it sit for 20~ mins or so. then blast it clean again with the power washer. And I know all too well how expensive it is to freshen up an engine with basically all new parts. My simple swap turned into a 3 month and $3,000 ordeal. What a headache.

Thanks! After several trial and error tests, I am down to the only deficiency being that I need new rotors! (New tires too, but the wife said NO) I have 195 70 15's on the back and 195 65 15's on the front, bought it like that, but in due time.....
For those still keeping track, here is my cardomain, look me up! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3868180Last edited by Lord_Vader; 07-31-2010, 05:51 PM.94 ELXGT, engine and trans located. After pickup, time to start piecing together the stuff I need.
