As some of you know, I bought a project off of a member here and I am picking up where he left off.
Here is his old build thread http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40013
I finally got to work on it last weekend. I started out by putting the axles back in and turning the front rotors. I also made the rear motor mount solid so now it has a solid front and rear.
I then got to work making an oil seperator/catch can. Here is a drawing I did in Pro-e of how it works.
The area between the two drilled plates is filled with the copper colored scrubbers and a piece of scotch brite sits on top under the top drilled plate. It should do a pretty good job of stripping the oil out of the air. Then there is petcock on the bottom to drain the oil.
Here are some pics of it completed. I forgot to take some while I was building it.
I also ran the AN lines to it and made the wastegate dump tube. Forgot to snap some of the dump.
Also made an overflow can out of a leftover piece of charge pipe. you can see it in one of the pics.
Some randoms of the engine bay.
Hopefully I can get the megasquirt wired in this weekend and see if she runs
