Well heres what you want to ultimately end up with.

You'll have to go into the FSM schematic and see what each wire code's color is. for example 2Y=Green with red stripe.(not correct, just and example) Then Find what color for each wire and make it match the pinout. Honestly, I wouldn't want to do it and unless you have a good bit of wiring experience I wouldn't attempt it because you could fry your ECU.

you can use the 323 harness it will work...all you will need to do is add the fourth wire for the disty and a wire for VICS because with the bp ecu, it will throw the CEL ....as for the fuel rail, the only difference is that you wont have to re-route the fuel lines if you use a mazda one....as for the sensors it will plug in but they wont work right...search it

The ecu is in, it runs, it drives, the cel is on, so I've got to figure that out, but the next priority is the escort rear axle. Speaking of the escort, it seems turpro is no longer interested in the shell, so i'll make the rest of the board the same deal as I did him, if you want the shell sans drivetrain and suspension I'll let you have it for salvage value, which should be about $150. Otherwise I'll be stripping the whole thing and sending it to the giant scrapyard in the sky.

This is the first I've seen of this. Why such a EGT hater, poor EGT. Tell me that thing wasn't rust free.
I been wishing I had a rust free Escort shell, especially already GT and manual to replace my winter beater shell.
I don't know what else to say....

it wasn't rust free, but it was pretty close. if I don't end up swapping turpro for his ftx bumper for it I would be more than happy to let you get the shell.

Well idk what's going on as you only respond to 1/3rd of my texts so I'll ask here. What all will I need to get? You said I may nit want it after hearing about all the parts you took off but I never got a responce when I asked what all is missing. I have access to another egt for parts and if I got this from you my v6 swap would go into this but I need answers. Let me know.

Also, when are you looking into doing the trade? I need to plan. I have kids and its not like I can just drop everything to go 2hrs away to get a car

it's going to be at least a few more weeks before I can get the rear brakes finished on the 323, so I don't know exactly what else I'm going to be needing to remove from the EGT. It's pretty much just going to be the body, but I can put the old 323 parts back on it.

I'm not worried about suspension, brakes, engine bay shiz. If the interior and exterior are intact I'm straight. I ha ve plans for braking and suspension . Would appresiate it if you could bolt the sturts and 323 wheels up to it so I can at least put it on a 2 wheel dolly and tow it home. That's all I ask

Well now, since the end of convertible season is rapidly approaching the little 323 that could is getting more attention. got around to mounting up the egt bumper, but before I could get the hump flattened out the garbage man decided to play bumper cars with it.

I also finally got around to dying the escort back seat and installing that. It doesn't match the msm seats exactly, but I think it looks pretty good.

THREAD RESURRECTION! As you may or may not know, i bought a Capri XR-2 last year with plans to swap the motor into my MX-3. Well, I have decided that it would be easier to go ahead and just throw it in the 323, so the little rusty canadian car that could is back on the operating table for another engine swap. Today I bolted the capri motor up to the escort gt transmission. the oil pan doesn't quite want to play ball, so i'm wondering if i should modify it to fit, or just use a steel 323 pan.
also, does anyone know if these are supposed to be plugged like this?
