theoretically an LS1 throttle body will fit on there, if I remember I'll check tomorrow. too bad you didn't have an AIT sensor in that adapter plate, I'm curious to see just how high the intake temps were- I've read that Eatons typically add about 110 degrees to ambient at the compressor outlet. how much room is there between the top of the blower and the bottom of the hood?

Yeah, the LS1 would fit, but I already have the 5.0 one. When I redo everything I will be welding the IAT bung on the adapter plate. The blower sits like an inch or so higher than the stock intake manifold did... It's just tall enough that the Corksport tower bar wouldn't fit. I could probably still close the hood with the oil cap on top of the blower.

hmm... I wonder if it would be worth trying to integrate a heat exchanger into that adapter plate to knock down the temps some...

I've contemplated it every day that I've driven the car, as ultimately it ends up heat-soaked like a mofo, but I will say that E85 helped keep under-hood temps down quite a bit...

If I were to build a new adapter for my setup, I would probably build it as a whole lower intake manifold, basically a giant plenum with some kind of AWIC in place, and short runners with velocity stacks straight in the head. I know Velocity stacks aren't necessary in a boosted application, but since you are limited to the boost that your pulley makes, it cant hurt to optimize what you have. I would also drop the Supercharger down an inch or two, so I could fit the strut tower bar as well.

With it setup the way it is, the car is actually 5 lbs lighter than when it was N/A. I also removed the complete A/C system at that time... and that was really the only change I made. So I am not too worried about the extra weight of an AWIC and massive steel plenum. Heck, maybe you could twin charge a BP Matt... GTX setup with the Eaton to top it off.
