    ahh bugger! lol, what about removing the knock sensor and installing the oil switch first? I've had luck with crap like that lol...

      Ill give it a shot tomorrow the knock sensor is not even hooked up its just hangin there

        keep the stock sensor and get a T fitting . stock sensor on one side and gauge on the other . that way you will retain the "it's too late light" rather than have to take the bulb out of the dash

          I don't even think I took the bulb out of the dash lol, no oil light tho...

            knock sensor and the stock sensor are useless really. the oil light comes on at 8psi waay too low so ditch it and the knock sensor so you have clearance.

              Yea i was ditching the old oil pressure light any way but know that the knock sensor is cleared up i should b good ill snip the connector and spin her outta her home Prob today

                i removed the knock sensor only to find out the oil pressure unit still wont work its touching the oil cooler just enough so the threads wont catch ****ty so now ill be getting an adapter to bring it away from the oil cooler

                  ****ty, but a simple fix. you can even use a T and cap the other side.

                  EDIT: you have an iphone, make with the pictures already!

                              What about buying a sandwich adapter to mount your pressure sensor in?

                              My prosport one has different threads then the stock sensor, so I just got a sandwich adapter from glowshift to mount my pressure sender in.
