Heh, caught that, too. It's fixed!

At this point, i'm shooting for an end of May completion date. Little later than i initially thought, but i'd rather make sure i get ALL the right parts, quality parts, and only have to do the work once.

The only big ticket items left are the seats, tires, flywheel, and gauge setup. :D

Figured i'd ask here because you guys rock. :D

          /brown-nosing.

Anyways... shopping for headers right now. Here's my questions:

          1) Can i use a true KLZE ECU with my MX3 wiring harness? Or do i have to get a chipped ECU?

          2) How many o2 sensors does the KLZE need in order to not throw CELs and run right?

The reason i ask #2 is because i'll be running a wideband. And if i can just install the wideband into an existing bung on the headers, that'd be cool. If i have to get a bung welded in, that works, too, i'd just rather not.

I suppose i could just get the wideband to simulate narrowband o2 readings like the Innovate i have on the MX6 does, but i'm trying to avoid that, and it would hinge on the answer to #2.

KLZE ECUs should be plug and play for the mx-3 harness, you will need to run the mx-3 MAF (JE50) since that's what the KLZE ECU runs.

I know there's a control unit people are running in the KLs to eliminate the o2 sensors...you'll probably have to check probetalk or mx6.com about that though. Asides from that, they're supposed to run 2 o2 sensors to run properly.

              Thanks Jack!

So basically... i need to decide now if i want to run the dual o2 sensor headers and weld a bung, or run the obd2 california headers...

              Glad i've already got a JE50 on the MX3. :D

I like pacesetters, give off a deeper tone, but if you don't use a resonator, yea it'll be raspy. The ebay headers don't sound the best either in my mind, too high pitch.

The Probe guys say the Pacesetters sound like crap because they're unequal length i guess.

I have a resonator... i'm hacking up a Corksport Power Series exhaust for this build.

I think in the end at this point, i'll just get what i can find for cheap. Either way, it'll sound interesting, and i don't think power will be an issue. Unless, of course, someone can convince me one way or the other.

I am also using a hacked up CS power series! $30 at the JY FTW! I am going to ditch the CS muffler for the ZX2 S/R Borla, which can be opened on the inlet to 2.5" and already has a 2.5 outlet. I will be cutting off the tip though... yuck, I'll replace it w/ plain 2.5 stainless exhaust pipe, maybe w/ a turndown? Here:

Yeah, I've gotten pretty lucky with this build so far. I have been getting hella deals on most everything, which is good, because this is my secondary project, and I am trying to save $ for my wagon's next incarnation. Enough OT.

Concealer- FWIW, these headers are pretty decent, very impressed actually, they are gasket matched at every flange, and appear to have been tested for leaks. They came w/ all necessary stainless hardware (except header to head) and every gasket. I know that's all pretty much a given with more expesive kits, but for this price you never know. The welds all look good, and I see no real flaws, other than unequal primaries. I would probably reccomend them, but obviously I haven't installed or heard them yet.
