It works, and has two rolls of electrical tape up and down that portion of the harness. As long as it continues working, I can live with it. :D

Remember the ecu reads the resistance of the tps. The butt connectors could change the resistance on that circuit. A harbor freight solder iron is fairly inexpensive and you'll find more thing to do with it.

You remind me of a friend of mine. No matter what he's doing he always has to have a cigarette in his mouth, lol!

Seems to fit. Old Army habit. I have a smoke hanging out of my mouth 20 hours a day. The other 4 I'm either asleep, or talking.

              Moar pics!!!

GO JUICE! Ran two days with no sleep due to Fresh ground Espresso coffee brewed twice in it's own filth.... WHOOO

There was a washer.... behind there....somewhere.....

              Coat hanger ftw!

How to: Disassemble the Hydraulic lifters for dummies - Make sure you lubricate them with a drop or two of oil before reinstalling them!!

Forgot the fuel rail wiring harness.... **** MY LIFE!

It is NOT impossible to get the harness on without removing the upper intake, I just found it to be MUCH easier.... 10 12mm Bolts hold the upper and lower together (I think it's 10 anyways... Somewhere in that ballpark)

Make sure to NOT forget the black grommets/Spacers that connect the head and fuel rail itself!!!

Boredom does different things to different people...

              Moar Go juice!!

Ah ****, here's some from the ORIGINAL E-cam swap, that turned into a Water pump replacement and clutch replacement....

                  Freshly cut-

6 10mm bolts hold the backing plate on... You'll need to remove this!

                  Stock Intake tick

Supposed to be 21 teeth CW AFTER the I tick.... I was one off, I fixed this for future purposes...

All of the cam bearings are numbered, so put them back where they came from in the corresponding slot

Cam seals are relatively cheap, if doing the E-cam swap, Change these out, They are a couple bucks on Rockauto.com, or I still have a set of spares, still in the packaging somewhere...

The #1 Bearing is a Bear to get out, so I reccomend a rubber mallet, with a sock wrapped around it so you don't get crap in your head!

                  The difference -

Mercury Capri 1.6L Cam cover - Fits!

                  New Water pump!!

One of my many parts cars -

Where the Cam cover came from -

So wrong, on so many levels...

Still a few heat spots.... Eh...

Aye, if it weren't for nicotine and caffeine, the whole gulf seaboard would be at risk.

Optimus Primer, are you using mineral or semi-synthetic motor oil now?

Full Synthetic 10W30. Seems to work a lot better than the Synth-blend 5w30 I was using. Then again my car won't stay running for more than a couple hours anyways.
