So i got around to starting it...kinda. It will start, but dies if you let the rpm drop below 2krpm. It has a B code Vaf and stock injectors. The previous owner stuck a screw in the vaf to hang it open , I'm going to amuse this was to keep the pump running. so i guess i'll start letting tension out of the spring.

I'll give that a try, I feel like I'm fighting multiple issues at once with this.1993 escort GT (work in progress)http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52303

So I messed with it some more and realized I could hear fuel returning to the tank. Popped the return line off the sending unit and I'm basically getting full flow back to the tank with the regulator at atmosphere. I have a second regulator I'll try after work.1993 escort GT (work in progress)http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52303

Got it to run, vaf was just tuned like 30 clicks off from where I needed it, last owner had it pretty tight.

tried my hand at painting , im using a FUJI thankless HPLV spray gun, sounds like a shop vac but works pretty well not a fan of how close you have to spray tho.
all primerd
I tried a flat white base with a pearl mid and a matte clear ...i used a little too much flattener and the pearl didn't show through the clear.
So then i went full gloss ...but i rushed becasue I was loosing sun light , looked awesome in the right light...but I had a ton crud in the clear and the bugs came out and ruined every thing...had the gun too far away and got lots of orange peal
I did a test fender with with a 2:1 ratio instead of the recommended 1:1 ratio. don't mind the bugs, It was a test anyway.
So now I'm block sanding the car down to the base coat and i'm going to respray with the new ratio this weekend.1993 escort GT (work in progress)http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52303
