To answer your probably rhetorical question about autox class....

Per SCCA standards, you'd be in SMF. (Street Modified FWD). Your local clubs will have variants of that class that would work better for you. Locally, i have SMS (Street Mod, Street Tire) and in KYscca region, STO. (Catch-all class)

Mine is actually being built for SCCA SMF eventually... i think we'll find it's a good platform for it. So keep that in mind.

Yeah, I kinda figured that with everything being done it would be in a similar class to yours. Mine wont be nearly as prepped as yours though, and I've only been to one Auto-x so I still have a ton of learning to do before I could ever dream of being competitive... Maybe a few years down the road I could have a better chance, but I gotta start somewhere! There are plans for a holset and MS in hopefully a year or so for this car, would that still put me in an SMF class?

Thanks Chris. To think I almost turpro'd this project all together... I got lucky on a few parts recently, and nothing ever sold when I posted it up. That was enough inspiration for me to take it on. I've been so busy w/ work that I really didn't see it happening, but now that the sun stays up past 5:00 PM, I feel like I have energy to tackle a few hours of it after work at least 3-4 days a week. Your support helps with morale! Thanks!

Yep, that's still SMF. I'm looking at supercharging mine over this coming winter, still SMF. :D

I hear you on the sunlight man!!! Now the sun is out longer, and so am I haha. Winter is always such a slow, crappy depressing season. Once we get long nice days, everything seems to look up lol
