set the toe to stock factory settings....... i don't know what happened to it since i had it. but i don't remember the passenger side looking like that ever.
i sold it knowing the car needed an alignment- dane just didn't ever get one. preferred to chew up tires i guess. i could imagine fixing the front alignment alone would drastically help out the MPG---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

That tire looks like you have about 1/2" toe out. I ate a pair just like that in about the same mileage when I stupidly forgot to check toe after replacing ball joints, too much hurry.
Book says 3/32" toe in, 1/16" will be fine, that's what I used. Anything better than how it is!
Same in back.
Camber is supposed to be 3/4 degree neg. Sitting on a flat surface, the top of the wheel will be about 1/4" in from the bottom. Measure with a carpenter's level, but stay front or back of the bulge in the tire from the car weight. either measure the floor or turn the car around and remeasure the camber to be certain the ground isn't slanted. I had a slope equal to the camber, so one side measured straight up and the other was double what it should be = 1/2". Turned the car around and the measurements reversed. But camber isn't what ate the tires.

nice! glad to hear it's getting better. My front end likes to bounce around a lot too lol, but that's because of my KYBs and #450 springs...lol...-Jack

sounds like the car's gettin' better!
I generally try to run zero toe, or with as minimal toe-in as possible. It makes it so you've got to stay on top of things when driving, even on "good" roads. (ruts galore, even if you can't see them!). for autoX, some people run a hair of toe-out, because it really helps turn-in, but it can make DD-ing the car a PITA because it gets really twitchy.

hehe, look what I found at the local junkyard! I got it for $25!
Yes, this means I plan on building my own supercharger setup!!! I also got a bit of sheet metal, 1/4" thick. I'm going eventually fab up an intake with a intercooler. Sadly, adding an intercooler means I'll need a hood scoop because it will be taller than the hood line, but I guess I can live with it. Intercooler will be pulled next week some time. It will cost me $15. More parts to follow! My family has lots of bg's!
