Horrible welds I know.... I was young and was using a gasless wire feed. another reason I am redoing this

Off subject a little, is there a recommended distance to weld my bung for my wideban O2 sensor? I looked in the manual that came with it and it does not say.

IIRC a wbO2 needs to be at least 18" away from the turbo and more is better. Mine are about 2ft back. Mount it on top of the pipe so condensation doesn't kill it.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

90 shore polyurethane I have made many sets of motor mounts for MX guys over the years. Before I put the rear end back together I will fill those old tired rear diff mounts the same way.

Thanks! that is perfect. Good idea with the top mount too. I would have mounted it on the side :/

Sidemount might be OK but better to be vertical.
