what is the inside diameter of the strut tubes on a bg?

I wonder if you could buy a set of megans for a 240 and cut the bottom mount and weld them to the bg mount and get camber plates . my buddy's have done it with other cars

sohc pump would be scary! lol

ya ksports seems to be holding up pretty well in the BG chassis...if I stick to mine I'll probably do the same some day, just too many issues when you try to build your own setup it seems lol.

drove it home from exhaust shop yesterday. took about 5 minutes until i blew a damn coupler . it was the one right of the compressor, so im gonna try the hairspray method and see how that works.

Enlighten me to the 'hair spray method'. Gives some extra grip to silicone on smooth surfaces I'm guessing?

Also, I've read this from page 1 and it's definitely giving me ideas for my Astina.

Are you running the t-bolt clamps? aka turbo clamps?

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

Yeah the hairspray gives it more grip. And Eric I ran out of tbolt clamps haha. I've got more in the mail though.

Putting a bead on the end of the pipes also helps stop it from blowing off. I still blew couplers off when I had T-bolt clamps occasionally. Then I bead rolled the ends of all the pipes, and I haven't blown a coupler off since.

you can make a bead roller with some old vicegrips, a muffler clamp sheet metal piece, and a big washer. just weld the clamp to the one side and the washer to the other. seem to work pretty well from what i'm told. i will be going that route when i get to ic piping.

Problem is that the compressor outlet is a thick cast piece, can't bead it very easily
